Workflow, layer order description:

1. Foundation

After repairs, sanding and thorough dedusting, lay the parquet flooring with the HARZO parquet varnish primer. HARZO Parquet Varnish Primer is a water-based material and does not contain volatile organic compounds! It can be applied to dry, finely polished and dusted wooden surfaces free of resin, oil and wax residues. Excellent preventive, wood protector! It is intended for the permanent protection of pine and leafy wood, blue thrush and wood-pendants against fungi. HARZO parquet is a varnish primer, deeply absorbed into the fibers of the wood, fixes the wood protector and fibers. Without dilution, applicate in one layer.

Drying time: about 2 hours, which depends on the air temperature and ventilation possibilities. Then it can be sanded and transferred.

2. Varnishing of parquet

After foundation, varnishing follows, HARZO water-based parquet varnish. It can be applied indoors, on hard and softwood. It does not contain volatile organic compounds!

Spread the parquet varnish in two or three layers and ensure two to three hours of drying time between the layers. After drying the first layer, you can grind it if necessary.

In case you do not wish to use primer as a preventive wood protector, you can also use parquet varnish diluted with water as its own primer.

In addition to varnishing the parquet flooring, it can be used for varnishing and surface treatment of furniture, doors, panelling and other indoor wooden surfaces.

Take special care not to touch the varnished surface permanently within 72 hours of the end of varnishing, as it may leave traces of bleaching. For example, don’t leave a wet rag or a glass with a wet bottom on it. But after 72 hours, he’s excellent at resisting the water and repelling it off itself with ease.

The HARZO parquet varnish-treated surface is flexible, mist and breathable, and provides long-lasting protection, wear resistance and is easy to clean.

Always work from a clean pot with a clean roller, brush and scraping grid!

Drying time: about 1-2 hours, which depends on the air temperature and ventilation possibilities. In the case of varnishing wooden bases, it can be sanded and transferred after 3-4 hours.
