Description of workflows and layer orders:

1.Preparation

To degreas the tile, you can use Triso, dissolved in lukewarm water or any degreaser. After dissolving the grease, wash the tile thoroughly with clean water. Wipe it dry. Make sure to wipe the remnants of the degreaser (veil layer) from the dried tile thoroughly with a dry cloth after washing the degreaser.

2. Glazing

In order to create a nice straight base, easier glazing and bridging the movement of the tile, it is recommended to embed a construction net in the HARZO tile filler, which is also used for façade insulation.

The net must be cut to size so that it is about half to one inch from the bottom and top of the sidewall. About 10 cm from the width of the stripped mesh, a so scrubbed tile. After the net has been removed, it must be placed in this filler and smoothed with stainless steel, pushed into the net, then pulled off the excess and put back in the bucket. Then place the next net next to it in the same way, just DO NOT overlap it, about half an inch between the two nets. The same should be done on a walking surface, it is worth cutting the net into 60 cm bands, so that it is easier to touch the net by hand when kneeling and bending.

Its drying time is about 4-8 hours, with an air temperature of 20-22 °C and adequate ventilation and ventilation. All the meshes you need to embed should be scaled before glazing, so that you don’t have to worry about this when glazing!

TIP: In the case of a sidewall, when inserting the mesh into the HARZO tile ball, you need to make sure that it is hung from above and smoothed into the top with a spatula, filler iron, which will hold the net and so you can embed it nicely downwards.

After drying, small protruding pieces and cans can be scraped with a spatula or sanded and dusted. After dedusting, the HARZO tile filler should be smoothed the surface a second time. If errors are still found, they must be repaired (floked) with the tile glare. It is advisable to pull tiled material into the corners, do not have a cornered design, but rather curved, because this will make it easy to introduce the grout tape into the corners nicely.

Its drying time is about 2-3hours, with an air temperature of 20-22 °C and adequate ventilation and ventilation.

Coverage: approx. 1.5-2.5 kg/m2/two layers (second layer thinner).

Tile filler packaging:

  • 6 kg
  • 20 kg

3. Deep foundation

After the HARZO tile ball is dried, grinding, dedusting, washing, drying and deep foundation with HARZO Penetrating Primer. It can be applied with a roller, but it is better to work with a brush and disc brush. There’s plenty to applicate, you can’t save on the material!  The HARZO Penetrating Primer should not be diluted with water in this case!!

Its drying time is about 2-3hours, with an air temperature of 20-22 °C and adequate ventilation and ventilation. Coverage: 10-12 m2/litre/layer.

Packaging:

  • 2 lit
  • 5 lit
  • 10 lit

4. Applying interstice colour (in case you want to divide the surface)

Then, according to your needs, the white or colour-mixed HARZO Interstice colour primer paint can be applied evenly, in one layer with a brush in the corners and edges, or with a short-haired roller (about 10-15 mm thread length) on larger surfaces.  You can dilute the material by adding up to 5% water with a thorough mixing.

Drying time is about 2-4 hours with air temperature 20-22 °C and adequate ventilation and ventilation. Coverage: 10-11 m2/litre/layer.

Packaging:

  • 2 lit
  • 4 lit

5. Interstice design (in case you want to divide the surface)

Next comes the determination and measurement of the optical interstice, the gluing of the Scotch 3M interstice adhesive tape, which can be scaled as desired, using a laser or water level. You should not draw a continuous pencil line, because it will be visible in the design of the fuses!! It is enough to mark the wall, in the corners and between them for horizontal grout measurement, at the vertical it is necessary to mark only at the bottom and top, and to glue the Scotch 3M tape along these markings. You need to make sure that there is no tension in the belt in the corners (do not jump out of the corner), so you need to carefully introduce the interstice adhesive tape into the arc formed in the corners (which you formed with a new one at the glazing) and follow the marking and smooth the tape thoroughly on the base. Always apply the grout tape beyond the tile, the door tree, the painted surface, etc. basically where there are no tiles anymore, where you have not applied any material and you will find the grouting tape even when you cover it with texture material!

Dimensions of Scotch 3M adhesive tape: 58 m long and 3.17 mm wide.

6. Preparation of the texture

HARZO 3 structure paint, which is blended to any colour, is applied in a thicker layer with a painting roller (recommended hair length approx. 15mm), with any patterning that can be further shaped in a variety of ways using stainless steel glazed creatively. Before creating the final pattern, it is worth rehemphasing the patterning on a piece of sample board and drywall, and then start working on the smaller simpler parts of the work surface!

Drying time is about 6-8 hours with air temperature 20-22 °C and adequate ventilation and ventilation. Coverage: 1 m2/kg/layer.

Packaging:

  • 6 kg
  • 20 kg

7. Glazing

You need to apply HARZO glaze to the dried HARZO 3 structural paint using a paint roller and brush. Since the material is quick to dry, you may want to complete this workflow with the window closed. Use a small, 10cm long and approximately 17mm hair length from the paint roller. When creating a marbled surface, apply the glaze to a smaller irregular spot (approx. 60cm x 60cm), SO AS NOT TO HAVE ANGULAR SHAPE rather like an amoeba, irregular.

If you work like this, you avoid regular mistakes that aren’t very nice.

For glazing, use the Schuller brand’s MICROLINE PRO 17mm hair-length paint roller and high-quality brush.

After the irregularly glazing material, work and smooth the glazing directly with the rubber shovel (kubala or MAPEI branded rubber shovel). Press the rubber shovel on it, remove the excess glazing material and then use the rubber shovel to put it back on and on…, repeating it as you like creatively and moving in irregular movements. Start with the smaller wall parts, do it wall-to-wall, then remove the grout tape until the glazer is completely dry, then continue on the next wall surface in the same way. After making a wall part and removing the grout tape, you can relax, even have coffee, and then start the next part of the wall. However, application and rubber shoveling of the glaze should be a continuous, non-stop workflow!!

There are many creative ways to apply HARZO Glaze, so we recommend that you make sample boards, practice on them, or practice on smaller surfaces in the garage in the more secluded corners of the flat!

TIP: For the dried HARZO 3 structure paint before ameating the coloured HARZO Glaze, you can apply HARZO glaze in one layer in a colourless consistency.

Thus, the dried HARZO 3 structural material will absorb less of the coloured glaze material. This extends the working time of the coloured glaze, which makes your job easier!

Colouring of HARZO Glaze: the easiest way to colour HARZO Glaze is to colour it in a paint shop with a water-based wall paint mixed with a water-based mural  (whether indoor or outdoor) mixed with a colour selected on the basis of an NCS or RAL colourcard.

Colouring ratio: For 1 litre of HARZO Glaze, pour at least 2 dl of tinted wall paint, if you want a stronger colour, then max.4 dl.

You can also colour it with hand-water-based colouring pastes creatively, optionaly.

Drying time: about 20-30 minutes, with air temperature 20-22 °C and adequate ventilation. Coverage:  12-15 m2/litre/layer

Packaging:

  • 250 ml
  • 1 litre
  • 2.5 litres
  • 5 liters

8. Varnishing

After the HARZO 3 structure paint has dried, the last minor repairs can follow, followed by the application of the HARZO two-component water varnish, so that you need to add 5% water to the first layer. Then after 2-3 hours of drying, you need to applicate it again, but without adding water. Even after apply to the second layer, provide a minimum drying time of 2-3 hours. Until you know the behavior of the material, always applicate one part of the wall at a time, and then the next part of the wall. Handle the two-component varnish carefully!! If it is necessary to divide the varnish, measure it in several directions, use a digital household scale for weighing and take care to ensure that the weight ratios are accurately observed.

Mixing of varnish begins with the mixing of component A, then the agitation and mixing of components A and B is followed by a clean bucket with a clean mixing mud, stirring for 5-6 minutes so that the chemistry processes start. Conveniently, you have about 2 hours to apply the varnish, after which the varnish begins to dry into the bucket. Always work with a clean roller, brush and scraper grid!! For varnishing, it is worth applying a new roller, brush, scraper grille per layer if you cannot wash it thoroughly!

Drying time per layer: about 2-3 hours, which depends on the air temperature and ventilation possibilities.

Coverage: 10-12 m2/kg/layer

Packaging.

  • 1 kg (component A+B)
  • 4 kg (component A+B)

9. Care, polishing

The HARZO Liquid Polishing Care seals the micronous pores of the dried varnishes, which are not visible to the naked eye, and protects them from abrasive effects and forms a protective layer, which is very easy to clean and keep clean. Countless layers can be applied one after the drying. With the care, you can care for the surface every week, monthly, yearly, over and over again, ensuring its shine and the experience of cleaning it effortlessly.

HARZO Polishing-Care water-like, white liquid that becomes colourless after drying. On the completely dried varnish, you need to work in two or three layers using a microfiber mop, evenly dissiccating it. The Liquid polishing care can be applied to the side wall with a short-haired (approx. 10 mm hair length) paint roller, or rolled up on the mopp, and then evenly distributed with a mop on the side wall.  Make sure it doesn’t happen!!

Drying time between layers is about 30-40 minutes, depending on the temperature.

Its coverage is about 60 m2/litre/layer.

Packaging:

  • 0.5 litres
  • 1 litre

THE HARZO LIQUID POLISHING CARE IS WORTH PRESERVING!
