Renovation of bathroom tiles with waterproof special paints. Based on a two-component T-16 primer
In this case, the shape and interstice of the tiles do not disappear, they are simply repainted with the two-component T-16 primer, Colour Top Coat, two-component varnish and caregiver.

The difference between the two paints is that the HARZO Colour Top Coat forms a cleanable and washable surface during work, while the HARZO Contact cover paint makes it easier to dirt and forms a slightly rougher surface. Therefore, you need to work with contact cover paint with more care until the cover varnish is applied. After applying the cover varnish, both paints provide excellent protection and resistance!

Workflow, layer order description:
1. Preparation, degreasing
To degreas the tile, you can use Triso, dissolved in lukewarm water or any degreaser. After cleaning, wash the tile thoroughly with clean water and wipe it dry. After washing the detergents, wipe the remnants of the detergent (veiled layer) thoroughly from the dried tile with a dry cloth.
2. Repairs
Repair unwanted holes, minor defects with HARZO FIX Compensative multi filler and HARZO-Fix Sealing materials.
3. Foundation
After the repair of defects has been completely dried, the HARZO T-16 is based on a two-component, water-based Special Primer. Spread evenly in one layer. Brush in corners and solvent-resistant roller on larger surfaces. You can also work with the roller in the corners if you have carefully covered the surfaces that you do not want to base.
The mixing of the two-component T-16 primer begins with the mixing of component A. Component A is not liquid. It’s normal. Stir in component A and add the contents of component B and the same number of water to the mixed component A. Using a drill with a clean mixing mud for 3-4 minutes, mix the components so that the cross-linking processes start. In case you need to mix a little material and machine mixing is not applicable, mix it manually with a brush and increase the mixing time by 2-3 minutes. Transfer the mixed material to a larger bucket that can hold the roller and the scraper grille. To apply the two-component primer, use the PAINTLINE painting roller of the Schuller brand, or a very similar one in quality and type. After mixing, you have about 45-60 minutes to abate the primer! Then, it begins to dry in the bucket. Mix as much material as you can put on the tile in these 45 minutes. Around or above 30 degrees air temperature, the processing time may be reduced to 30 minutes or below this time! Always work with a clean roller, brush and pull-down grid.
If it is necessary to devided the primer, measure it in several directions, use a digital household scale for weighing and take care to ensure that the weight ratios are accurately observed.
Coverage: 8-10m2/kg/layer.

4. Apply colour
For painting, use the HARZO Colour Top Coat or the HARZO Contact Cover Paint. Roll the overlay paint on the tile. You can colour the paint at the paint shop according to your colour code or at home with a hand-colouring paste. At home, mix only light colours. Between the layers of paint, at room temperature, provide about 1-2 hours of drying time. The coloured cover paint, usually enough, will be applied and covered in two layers. White or very light colours may need to be applied in three layers.
If you want, highlight a wall part in its colour, mask the alignment with sensitiv adhesive tape, which will separate the two colours from each other. Apply in two layers, with the right colour for you and after drying, remove the adhesive tape.
Coverage on tiles, applied to foundation for both paints: 10-12 m2/kg/layer.

5. Varnishing
After the covering paint has dried, the last minor repairs can follow, and then the mixing and abbrevation of the HARZO two-component water varnish (dense, white in colour, which becomes colourless after drying).
Mixing of varnish begins with the mixing of component A, then the agitation and mixing of components A and B is followed by a clean bucket with a clean mixing mud, stirring for 5-6 minutes so that the chemistry processes start. Conveniently, you have about 2 hours to aquies and roll the varnish, after which the varnish begins to dry into the bucket. Always work with a clean roller, brush and scraper grid. For varnishing, it is worth applying a new roller, brush, scraper grille per layer if you cannot wash it thoroughly! We recommend using the MICROLINE PRO paint roller of the Shuller brand for varnishing, or similar high-quality rollers and high-quality brushes!
Applicate the varnish in two layers. After mixing, you have about 2 hours to aquiescent the varnish! Then, it begins to dry in the bucket. Mix as much material as you can put on the wall in those two hours. Drying time, room temperature, about 2 hours and can be transferred. Even after adhering to the second layer, provide a minimum drying time of 2-3 hours.
Until you know the behavior of the material, always applicate one part of the wall at a time, and then the next part of the wall. If it is necessary to divide the varnish, measure it in several directions, use a digital household scale for weighing and take care to ensure that the weight ratios are accurately observed.

6. Care, polishing
The HARZO Polishing-Caregiver seals the micron pores of the dried varnish, which is not visible to the naked eye, and forms a layer that protects against abrasive effects, which is very easy to clean and keep clean. Countless layers can be applied one after the drying. With the care, you can care for the surface every week, monthly, yearly, over and over again, ensuring its shine and the experience of cleaning it effortlessly.
HARZO Polishing-Care water-like, white liquid that becomes colourless after drying. In two to three layers of completely dried varnish, it is necessary to work with the application of a microfiber mop, evenly dissiccating it. The Liquid polishing care can be rolled up to the mopp with a short-haired (approx. 10-17 mm hair length) paint roller, and then evenly distributed with a mop on the side wall. Care must be taken not to flow!!
Drying time between layers: about 30-40 minutes, depending on the temperature.
