Mixing a two-component T-16 Special Primer step by step.

HARZO products are always water-based materials! Mix all materials thoroughly before use. The tools can be washed with water!

How to mix:

Component A, after opening the pot, does not appear liquid. It becomes fluid at the moment of mixing. It’s normal!

Stir in component A, then add the contents of component B and the same number of water to component A. Using a drill with a clean mixing mud, mix the two components for 3-4 minutes to get the crosslinking processes started. In case you need to mix a little material and you can’t use the mixing machine mixing, mix it manually with a brush and increase the mixing time by 2-3 minutes. After mixing, you have about 1 hour to apply the primer, then start drying it in the bucket. Mix as much material as you can process in those 1 hour. After mixing components A and B, application can be done with a brush, a short-haired waxing roller. The HARZO T-16 Special two-component primer is sufficient to apply in one layer. Its colour is translucent!

At 30 °C, the processing time may be reduced to 30 minutes or below this period!

If it is necessary to divide the varnish, measure it in several directions, use a digital household scale for weighing and take care to ensure that the weight ratios are accurately observed.

Always work with a clean roller, brush and scraper grid.

Drying time: about 2-3 hours, which depends on the air temperature and ventilation possibilities.

Coverage: approx. 6-10 m2/kg/layer. It depends on the suction capacity of the surfaces.
