Smoothing with HARZO Smoothing, Levelling, Tile and Mirror Smoothing

Before painting, we often encounter the problem that the wall we want to paint is covered with surface defects (holes, cracks). The repair of these surface defects is called gluing. You should start by repairing the larger holes, cracks and screw holes in the walls.

HARZO Smoothing Glue is a pre-mixed bucket material that is a convenient and practical solution. No heavy bags to move, no water to mix, no dusting and importantly, no wasted material because the material does not bind in the bucket!

A premium smooth, flexible, strong glue material for use indoors for pre-paint gluing and in contact with the surfaces listed below for repair work and mesh embedding, up to 0-3mm thickness.

Application areas:

• plastered walls
• plasterboard
• concrete
• metal primed with corrosion inhibitor
• aluminium
• galvanized
• OSB board

It can be applied in one or more coats, keeps its shape and can be sanded well.

Drying time.

Surface condition:

The substrate surface must be clean, dust free, sound and wearable. All adhesion inhibiting materials must be removed from the substrate! The properties of the substrate should be checked by a test repair.

Application:

Hand trowel to a thickness of approx. 0-3 mm. Before use, the material must be mixed to a creamy consistency and should only be applied at a temperature of 8-30 °C. It is sufficient to fill a 2-3 mm recess in one coat, but in this case the drying time must be extended accordingly. After drying, it can be sanded and painted over with any aqueous dispersion or solvent-based paint.

HARZO Fix Levelling Glue

HARZO Fix Levelling Glue is a pre-mixed bucket material that is a convenient and practical solution.  No heavy bags to move, no water to mix, no measuring proportions, no dusting and importantly, no wasted material because the material does not bind in the bucket!

HARZO-Fix Smoothing Glue is a pre-mixed quartz grain bucket suitable for repairing and smoothing major defects indoors and where it meets the surfaces listed below, for repair work and mesh embedding purposes, up to 1-5mm thick

Application surfaces:

• plastered walls
• plasterboard
• concrete
• metal coated with corrosion inhibitor
• aluminium
• galvanised
• OSB boards

Can be applied in one or more layers, keeps its shape, can be sanded well.

Drying time.

Surface condition: The substrate must be clean, dust-free, sound and suitable for wearing. All adhesion inhibiting materials must be removed from the substrate! The surface must be free of dust, dirt and contaminants.

Application:

Hand trowel to a thickness of approx. 1-5 mm. Before use, the material should be mixed to a creamy consistency and should only be applied at a temperature of 8-30 °C. It is sufficient to fill a recess of 1-5 mm in one coat, in which case account must be taken of the corresponding increase in drying time. After drying, it can be sanded, if necessary coated with HARZO-Fix smoothing glue, then painted over with any aqueous dispersion or solvent-based paint.

HARZO Tiled bridge builder

HARZO HARZO is designed to remove old, defective, stale tiles. It is also excellent for repairing small, larger defects before painting, and for restoring and gluing broken flower pots, ceramic garden ornaments. Put it in a box the size of the one it fills, so it doesn’t get ruined too soon.)

This product can be applied directly to degreased tile without primer. It is usually necessary to apply 2 coats, because the first coat is not easy to apply due to the excellent properties of the material. However, the second coat, applied after sanding or scraping over the first coat with a spackle, makes up for this.

It should be applied in the same way as traditional gluing. We recommend applying it with a stainless steel smoothing iron or spackle. Thinning is not necessary, but it can be diluted gently with water. The gletted surface can also be sanded and painted with any type of paint.

Drying time under suitable conditions is 3-6 hours.

HARZO Mirror glass

Premium smooth, flexible, strong glue for pre-painting gluing.

The premixed bucket glue can be used indoors on HARZO-Fix Smoothing Glue to create a mirror smooth finish. It can also be applied to other gypsum-based, dried, smoothly sanded substrates to create a mirror smooth finish. It keeps its shape up to 0-0,5 mm layer thickness and can be well sanded. HARZO Finish Mirror Glue is an excellent base for preparing marbling and other decorative work.

You can also create a mirror-like base without sanding!

Drying time:

At an air temperature of 22 °C, 0-0.5 mm thick, it forms a hard and flexible surface that is easy to sand after 2-4 hours.

Surface condition: The substrate must be clean, dust-free, sound and suitable for wearing. All adhesion inhibiting materials must be removed from the substrate! The surface must be free from dust, dirt, contaminants, dust and dirt.

Application:

Hand trowel to a thickness of 0-0,5 mm. Before use, the material must be mixed to a creamy consistency and should only be applied at temperatures between 8 °C and 30 °C. After drying, it can be sanded and painted over with any water-based dispersion or solvent-based paint.
