Primer – dispersion, bridge, two-component – HARZO dispersion deep primer, HARZO T-16 bridge and two-component special primer

Painting a room is one of the most common ways to decorate your home, yet many people don’t use or even know about deep primer, which can improve the final result.

Deep primer is a water-dilutable substance that must be applied to the wall before painting. It evens out the absorbency of the wall and provides a suitable base for painting.

Deep foundation with our HARZO Dispersion Deep Primer

HARZO deep primer is used to reduce the absorbency of the wall surface, to strengthen the plaster and to create a homogeneous base after patch repairs, both indoors and outdoors.

Harzo Dispersion Deep Primer is a waterproof primer.

It is a primer for HARZO 3, HARZO Crystal Textured Coatings and HARZO Tiredi Antique Paint. It penetrates deep into the surface, solidifies their top layer, its application reduces the need for topcoat material, prevents staining.

Can be used for:

  • concrete,
  • mortar,
  • plaster,
  • plasterboard,
  • painted walls
  • and eternite surfaces.

Can be diluted with water, tools can be washed off with water. Can be applied by brush, roller or spray.

Drying time in suitable conditions is approximately 2-3 hours.

Priming with our HARZO T-16 bridge primer

HARZO T-16 is a water-based bridge primer.

It is used for priming and bridging various surfaces, so that any paint of your choice can be applied to the primed surface. It has an excellent covering capacity and can be applied in 1 coat. Base colour white. Can be applied with brush, roller or spray gun. It is important that the surface to be primed is degreased, free of dust and dirt.

It is not necessary to sand the surface to be primed.

Its excellent adhesion can be used as a finishing coat:

  • plastic,
  • glass,
  • metal,
  • wood,
  • furniture board,
  • varnished wood,
  • tiles and cladding,
  • and laminated materials
  • painted enamel, oil-based paint and other surfaces treated with aggressive substances (e.g. nitro-diluted paints).

After priming, any topcoat can be applied (e.g. water-based, solvent-based industrial enamel).

Drying time under suitable conditions is approximately 1-2 hours.

Priming with our HARZO-T16 SPECIAL TWO-COMPONENT FOUNDATION

HARZO T-16 Special Two-Component Water-Based Primer is a primer developed for tile restoration systems and has long been used for industrial applications. After drying, it forms a slightly white, rather translucent surface. It provides a safe base around wetrooms and should be used as a primer on all tile surfaces prior to topcoating and varnishing.

Most topcoats will adhere well. Topcoats and lacquers applied over HARZO T-16 Special Two-Component Primer provide even greater protection than anything else to date.

It is recommended to use it in combination with HARZO Color Topcoat and HARZO Two-Component Varnishes and Conditioners for tile painting. By applying it, you will make the painting of walkways and water blocks even safer and longer lasting! It is also recommended to use it as a primer, in showers, on side walls and on heavy-duty walking surfaces before applying HARZO tiles! Depending on the absorbency of the base, temperature and relative humidity, drying time at 23°C is about 2-3 hours. It is not recommended to colour, dilute with a maximum of 5-10% water and stir thoroughly!
