Workflow, layer order description:

1. Basics

The preparation of the base is simple. You need to make a white wall with a smooth surface with indoor wall paint so that the last layer of wall painting, HARZO contact cover paint. So you only need to put one layer of HARZO contact cover paint on the wall.

Coverage on indoor wall painting: 8-10 m2/lit/layer.

Drying time: about 1-3 hours, depends on the temperature and proper ventilation, ventilation.

2. Decoration with HARZO Decor decorative material

Decoration with tupfing:

It is recommended to apply the HARZO Decor decorative material to the wall in one layer.

Dip the brush in the Decor decorative material so that after the dip there is plenty of material left on it. You’ll work on the wall. It is no larger than about 20×20 cm in area, forming irregular amoeba forms. Dip it again, and so on. Always tap the same side of the brush against the wall so that the part of the brush that is taped against the wall flattens slightly. Thus, when the brush is knocked down and lifted, a shell-like pattern is created. This brush movement is called tupfing. You can leave the pattern like this and finish it, or smooth the surface with a stainless steel filler iron. You can customize that to your liking.

Irregular amoeba shapes can be joined together gently or leave a few millimeters of distance between them, so that the white base can be seen in thin, irregular veins. Make this thin white vein so that it is clearly visible in places, where it disappears or is visible. Use this simple method as an effect. Effect that you don’t have to buy separately, spray it, paint it, you just skip its place and that’s it.

Tip: Before you start working, practice tupfing on a sample board. Watching the video helps a lot! When you feel like you’re going easy, start on the wall, in a more secluded part. If you make a mistake, you can experience how you can improve it. That way, you’ll have a simpler time on the big walls.

Decoration with paint roller:

Roll down with a short-haired paint roller in an irregular shape, 4-5 m2 of wall part. Smooth it out with the stainless steel filler iron, then continue like this, rolling and fillering it out. The corners of the filler iron can scratch the work surface! Therefore, before buying, inspect the metal plate, which should bend towards the two ends, preferably the handle. If you can’t find one, bend it a little so it doesn’t scratch you.

Once you have rolled up the material, you can apply a wide variety of decorative tools. Choose the tools for decoration creatively. You can change the rules of the game for tools, you can insted it!
